The Mind-Reading
Reading books are so important.
On the mind today, I want to speak to you about a UCLA study on rats.
The test was about “Time,” how long it took them to get through the maze. They gave them excessive amounts of sugar, like what we eat every day. Furthermore, they put them through the maze again and saw that their ability to get to the maze was a lot slower. After this, they gave them Omega fatty acids and put them through the same maze again. The rats were able to get through the maze a lot faster, actually similar to the speed that they had before they ate the sugar. I’m not professing that you should eat sugar and then take Omega fatty acids to override the sugar, but imagine that if the rats hadn’t eaten the sugar. I’m certain that if they took only the Omega fatty acid how much faster their ability to go through the maze.
Omega fatty acids are so beneficial to get rid of the brain fog, keeps your mind sharp, and helps you in so many ways.
There are other things that you can do to keep your mind sharp, like reading. So many of us listen to audio, listen to books, listen to the news, but if you got the actual Sunday paper, you’re able to keep your mind sharp. Reading enhances and sharpens your mind.
Power Reading
Try power reading. I read like five books a week, and sometimes I’m reading things on the body, goals, and many other subjects.
Reading as fast as you can using your finger to have your eyes travel along is a great way to help your mind.
