What is your mind focused on when you wake up?
Here is a poem I wrote for you.
Waking Up On Purpose
What is your purpose, your destiny, your dream?
Waking up on purpose, what does it mean?
God has something special; He has it for all
Start out as a seed, planted in small.
Deep inside it is lurking
You know that it’s there
You often ignore it, not because you don’t care.
You haven’t been told, or you just don’t believe
That the gift that God gave you
Will help you succeed
The gift is too big, or your mind is too small
Maybe you just don’t realize your worth at all
You’ll make a decision when the money is right
At the perfect time, which is clean out of sight
Maybe as soon as you get your degree
Then you will see what your life can be
The secret to life, now listen close
It’s the one thing that we all fear the most
It’s what makes the difference, in doing or not
It’s what we all have; we don’t use a lot
Successful people have it; it’s what they use
The key that they use, whatever they choose
The key to success is simple, DECIDE
Today, right now! Look deep inside
Circumstances, situations can be challenging it’s true
How you handle those things, it’s what really makes you
Don’t let life just happen, as it comes about
You decide how your life is going to work out
You have a gift inside you to share
Decide how you use it, decide Oh I dare
This is life-altering and you may be nervous
But when you wake up
You wake up on PURPOSE
That is the key to life: DECIDE
First thing in the morning, you decide how your life is going to be. Don’t just let life happen.
You make the decision.
• That you are going to be successful
• That you are going to be prosperous
• How you are going to handle whatever the devil throws at you
You make that decision.Don’t let the decision make you. Don’t wait until it’s the right time, the right place, or the right circumstances to set or achieve your goal.
Start right where you are. Whatever you can do to get started, get started.
In God’s Word (Romans 8:28), it says, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Purpose
Your purpose is the gift that He has put in you to do. So that you be successful in whatever it is.
You know that it is the right decision to do what it is you must do.
Back in 1989, I decided to join the Reserves, and I had three small children. When I made the decision, I didn’t know how I was going to pay my rent, who was going to take of my children, etc. Once I made the decision, I didn’t look back.
Begin with the End in mind.
