Masterful Purpose Key #1
FIRST KEY: SAYING IT
“Words are things.”
-Pamela Pete
Say what your goal is. Say it loud! God said, “Let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3), He also told Moses, “Speak to the Rock: and water flowed out.” (Numbers 20:7-8).
Words are things. Once you say it, you put energy into it.
There are a lot of reasons why you must verbally speak to your goals. Here are a few that you may be experiencing or have experienced in the past.
- Negative voices in your mind
- Unconscious fears your goals being too big
- Worry about others laughing at you
Saying your goals will disprove those critical voices that are negative. Most importantly, when you are speaking your goals, you can’t think the contrary. Since the brain is only allowed to focus on what you are saying.
State it in the present. For example, saying aloud, “I am a doctor, or I am the owner of a car wash. Not saying, I’m going to be or I’m trying to be. You are, or you aren’t. Don’t say “TRY,” otherwise it’s a possibility that it would not happen. The definition of try is to attempt to do something. Be firm and sure that your goal is going to happen; State it every day!
Here is a poem I wrote to encourage you:
I know there’s fear, worry, and doubt,
That’s OK, shout it out!
Four things are key,
Unlock your gift and set it Free!
Say it is Key number one
It is your goal, Let’s get it done
